Did Tito Ortiz fight Dana White?

I read in an article that Tino would only come back to the UFC if Dana agreed to a boxing fight. Does anyone know if this took place. It was scheduled for some time after his fight with Shamrock.

Did Tito Ortiz fight Dana White?
Three round boxing match.
Reply:Tito punked out because it was a no win situation. He was suposed to kill him, but if he did he'd look like the *** that he is. And if he lost.... Well you know how that would look. Report It
Reply:I haven't heard that yet!!! But he kicked Shamrock's ***...OMG, did you see it....
Reply:No he didnt fight Dana white, He had a boxing match with pads on with him. It was for a charity and it wouldnt be broadcasted, but yeah they did hit eachother.
Reply:I hope tito kicked that a$$holes ***.
Reply:You can't be serious, are you? That's funny if true. Ortiz would likely kill him.
Reply:It's true. Ortiz is contractually guaranteed a three round boxing match with Dana White.

But this is pathetic and it just goes to show what UFC is all about nowdays - basically professional wrestling. For the past few years they have been getting all their talent from reality shows and building them up with stories of how hard life or difficult childhood they had like that's supposed to make them MMA fighters and now this to top it all off. I just can not believe that Ortiz, a great fighter and former champion actually agreed to humiliate him self like this. In fact only thing left for UFC officials to do is start controlling the outcome of their matches and they're there - right in pro wrestling waters. And to think that there are so many people in United States that actually believe that UFC is where the real MMA talent is and that they are better then PRIDE even - that's just ridiculous.

So to all UFC fans out there I can only say one thing: to quote the immortal words of Chuck D - "Don't believe the hype!"
Reply:Physically? Only in a charity boxing match. Verbally? Yeah, over contract disagreements. Dana is Tito and Chuck Lidell's mgr.
Reply:Dude is saying that UFC is like pro wrestling. Look at Pride Most of the guys that fight over there are pro wrestlers and in the early days of Pride a loit of the fights were fixed.

Don't believe the hype
