Did Tito Ortiz fight Dana White?
I read in an article that Tino would only come back to the UFC if Dana agreed to a boxing fight. Does anyone know if this took place. It was scheduled for some time after his fight with Shamrock.

For the past few years they have been getting all their talent from reality shows and building them up with stories of how hard life or difficult childhood they had like that's supposed to make them MMA fighters and now this to top it all off. I just can not believe that Ortiz, a great fighter and former champion actually agreed to humiliate him self like this. In fact only thing left for UFC officials to do is start controlling the outcome of their matches and they're there - right in pro wrestling waters. And to think that there are so many people in United States that actually believe that UFC is where the real MMA talent is and that they are better then PRIDE even - that's just ridiculous.
So to all UFC fans out there I can only say one thing: to quote the immortal words of Chuck D - "Don't believe the hype!"

Tattoo on achilles tendon?
I want to get a tattoo of a shamrock on my achilles tendon, is that a possible location to get that done? Or should I rethink getting it done there? I know it will hurt, I'm ok with that. I just wanna know if its even possible to get one done there.

Well, yes it is possible but you will have to decide about the size. To fit over the tendon, if your ankle is tiny and it is pronounced, it will either be distorted from bending around it or you will have to make it very small which oftentimes only appears as a blob.
Reply:My husband has been a tattoo artist for 15 yrs. I have a vine that wraps around my ankle twice and goes all the way down my foot. It's been there for almost 10 yrs and yes, it goes across the tendon. Yep, it hurts there but what you are wanting is small, so it will be over soon.

Tim silvia is a fat ***** who only squeaked out a win with a lucky punch even though it was a great hit. I hate him, he doesn't train hard enough nor doe he take the sport and his fanbase seriously enough. Arlovsky is THE ****(for a UFC fighter.. not quite the caliber of Pride's Fedor Emelianenko but take what you can get) and he controlled the second fight the whole time until the lucky punch dazed him and lead him to defeat.
The other fights.. i have no strong feelings about because tito and shamrock are so old i don't care.. but IMHO shamrock is a piece and hasn't evolved on iota since day one so he's dead meat but Tito's leg is ****** up as hell man and I don't know how that will hold up in the fight, because it just plain went to hell during the forrest griffin fight so we'll have to see.

Secondly, I was actually rather upset that he started using the Ankle Lock as a finisher for several reasons. I was a huge Shamrock fan while he was in WWE and thought he would win the title eventually, and two Kurt Angle was a wrestler and was using an MMA submission. It just didn't make sense. Finally, yes I remember the Patriot. I kinda liked him just because I was getting tired of the New Hart Foundation run and thought he was a breath of fresh air. Wrist Tattoo for 16th Birthday ?
I want [and have wanted for a while] a small shamrock tattoo on my left wrist the size of a quarter - i want it black and white..what do you guys think? do you think its a bad idea? or if you've gotten a wrist tattoo - does it hurt really bad? ive heard it hurts because it's a bunch of veins but i dont know..

I would say wait until you are older for maturities sake. If you still want it by that time get it. Your taste might change and you might regret it. Being legal or not, a couple extra years lets you get to know yourself that much better. Think about future jobs. I wanted the one I have on my wrist and the guy asked what I want to go into and suggested ankle or back instead because it's not professional to have tattoos showing in many jobs. I ended up with it on my ankle and am so glad I didn't get it on my wrist. Most people can't even see it when I'm barefoot and in shorts. I'm not saying don't get one but do think about that. Ignore anyone saying you'll regret it when you get old and it looks like crap, you'll still remember why you did it in the first place so you wont need the perfect image. Put more thought into it, if you have ANY doubts, don't do it and talk to local artists by calling or going in. Also look up state laws, I know Washington requires you to be 18 no matter what. Some shops that could do it wont because it's not a two party thing, the parents are part of it and that can get messy. Email me if you want, I went through the same thing with mine about the placement and jobs.

The artist I talked to said the only place a 16 year old can go to a professional tattoo shop and have one done is in Nevada, and you have to show proof or residency. I know, it sucks, I wanted a tattoo since I was 14 and I had to wait till my 18th birthday to get it.
The only way 16 year olds in your area got them was to have a friend or someone who does not have a license to do it for them. Believe me, I know

Never get a tattoo on your hands, neck, wrist, or forearms..It doesnt look good later in life for your future "real job." You are not where you are going to be forever as far as style, things you like etc. Ask yourself this one question do you want to be a 40 yr old soccer mom with a shamrock on your wrist? People are alot more accepting of tattoos now then they were before I would just get one that is not visible. xoxo

Reply:my wrist tattoo hurt. not like the worse pain i've ever felt, but definitely worse than my other tattoos ( i have one on my should blade area and on the inside of my ankle). the tattoo on my ankle is actually over some bone (when it's directly on bone it really hurts) and the wrist still hurt worse. if you can tolerate a moderate amount of pain, you'll b fine. it kinda feels like a bee sting each time the tattoo artist has to stop for ink and start again. but since ur tattoo is small you should b ok.
also, and this is just my opinion. i REALLY think you should wait until you're at least 18 to get your tattoo. and yes having a tattoo can affect you getting a job, especially when they have a strict dress code policy (which usually includes rules about piercings and tattoos). it the tattoo is small enough you can always cover it with a watch or bracelet but still, you are taking a chance.

Reply:well to be honest im 19 and i dont have any tattoos i use to always want to get one small somewhere like where everyone could see it but then i realized its not that good of an idea because oneday if your trying to get a good job you have to cover it up somehow and usually jobs dont like that and they think its really unprofessional so you do have to think about that.
it probably will hurt but if you really want it then hell its worth it lol. x x

Many business will not even hire you. And if they do they will make you cover it up in some lame way, long sleeve shirt or band-aid, or make-up. I would seriously reconsider.

Whats your favorite moment, match or skit in Pro Wrestling?
Mine is the Undertaker vs. Mankind when the Deadman threw him thru the cage celing, anc when I think Shamrock threw Shane McMahon thru the glass plates. Also the Cat had some good matches with Ken Norton, and Norton some good matches with Goldberg.
My favorite moment was the creation of the nWo in the 90's, when Hogan turned to Hollywood and joined Hall and Nash.

I just posted a question about free speech zones, and one guy, shamrock,called me an idiot then a liar saying their were no such things as free speech zones. Does it bother you that we share the political arena with people who have no clue what is going on? Is their anything we can do about this? This guys vote counts teh same as a person who knows everything.

Hows it going? Issues with a first day tattoo. Well I am Snake I am a tattoo artist out of the Tampa bay area and have been tattooing for a little over 10 years. Don's stress that on the first day. It is normal for your skin to do wierd things after getting a tattoo. Peoples skin reacts differently to it but everyone's skin get red and swollen. As you know the needle penetrates your skin hundreds of thousands of times. It is an open wound. Just use whatever healing method YOUR tattoo artist gave you and wait it out for a few days. If it's still bad after that call your artist and talk to him about it. Good luck! If you have anymore questions post another question with my name in it.

Reply:It's probably your skin just becoming irritated and swollen. The little red dots may even be like blood blisters.
Skin gets quite irritated after tattoos.
Get some tattoo goo or some neosporin and put it on the tat all throughout the day, to keep it moisturized.
After a few days the skin should reduce in swelling and the redness should go away.

normal, you may have to put some cream on it or something

Also, if you have a latex allergy (you might not even know you have it) the gloves he wore and the tape they use to secure the bandage afterwards could have caused you to rash and this is why it doesn't hurt. Mine rashed really bad around where the tape was on my bandage and didn't go away from three days. I say give it another day make sure to wash the whole area really well tonight and let it sit and breathe for about half an hour. DO NOT USE NEOSPORIN! I know that was previously mentioned but DO NOT put it on your tattoo is slows the healing. Whatever ointment you are using on it spread over the red parts. I suggest Bacitracine Zinc or tattoo goo. If after that it doesn't show any signs of improvement definately call the shop where you got it done and ask your artsit if maybe he did dry runs along the outside or anything.

I haven't heard any stories regarding Cena, but wrestlers have a history of getting in bar fights and outside of arena fights. Usually 3-4 wrestlers against 10-12 bar patrons. The wrestlers messing up a bunch of the bar patrons.
That being said. Cena would probably slaughter most people in a real fight, but the opponent here is Shamrock. Shamrock is past his prime, but my money would be on Shamrock. Shamrock is a trained fighter while Cena is a performer.

right now they are about the size of a quarter and they are dark green faded into light green. they don't really stand out that much and im looking for a way to make them stand out more. any ideas?? i figured outlining it in black would make it look better but what else.

The thing with cover up tattoos, is, to be sure you go to a reputable artist and discuss options with him/her. They will need to see the tattoo and make recommendation based on that. Understand that the cover up will have to be somewhat bigger than the original tattoo. Good luck .

But the original stable was great, and the title tournament featuring the Rock's heel turn at Survivor Series '98 was one of the more memorable PPVs of the 90s. Great stuff.

What so think about Tito Oriz?
To me it seems like he's has been going around picking fights with other fighters. Look at the Ken Shamrock feud. He flipped the dude of for no reason. Also look at the feud between him and Rashad Evans. You could see that he walked over and just got up in his face (go to utbe if you want to see). Maybe it's only me. The question is; is he cocky or confident? Does he has a reason to be cocky?
What so think about Tito Oriz?
Personally, I don't like Tito Ortiz. Why? As a Mixed Martial Artist myself, I pride myself on the fact that I don't downtalk any of my opponents; whether I'm going to fight them or not. It's just bad karma. In this game, they say that big egos, a cocky attitude, and trash-talking is crucial factor. I disagree.
A common misconception that was, and still is made, by the general public is that Mixed Martial Artists (Ultimate Fighters) are animals/barbaric. To me, trash-talking your opponent before a match and making all these claims on what you're going to do to him only justifies the general public's stereotypes. If you pull the classic "high-school drama" trash-talking, than people are going to look at you as an under-developed moron. Think about it, when a ring announcer/interviewer walks up to a fighter and asks "What are you thoughts about your future opponent" which answer would you give the fighter more respect for?
A)I think he's all talk. I'm a better fighter than him, I'm younger, I'm faster, I'm gonna get in the ring and I'm gonna knock him out. (Tito Ortiz style)
or
B)I respect him as a fighter, and I'm not going to take the match lightly. I'm going to train harder than I've ever train before. (Georges St. Pierre style)
It doesn't take any effort/talent to down-talk anyone. Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz had their feud going on for ages. They both trash-talked each other day in and day out. That's why it was hard to choose who you actually wanted to win. To me, it was like watching Saddam Hussein fight Osama Bin Laden; whoever lost, nobody cared because nobody liked either of them.
Given the controversy that Mixed Martial Arts caused in this country when it first came out, I think that showing a little bit of class and respect for your opponent is a crucial factor in developing yourself/career as both a fighter and a decent human being. It doesn't take any skill to talk, but it takes a little bit of control to decide what comes out.
Oh, and for the record to completely answer the question; Tito doesn't even have any reason to be cocky. He's not as good of a fighter as he thinks he is. He beat Ken Shamrock 3 times...great job! He BARELY beat Forest Griffin (controversial, I disagree with the desicion), he got annihilated by Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture spanked him. Need I keep going? The only legit fighter that he's really beaten lately is Vitor Belfort. The reason people view Tito as a good fighter is because he was good when everyone else wasn't. He was one of the earlier UFC fighters before fighting styles got truly established in the UFC. He's over-rated.

He has all the reason to be confident, he is a former champion, he is a guy with a great record who has defeated some very good fighters like Wanderlei Silva, Vitor Belfort, Ken Shamrock,Vladimir Matyushenko, Evan Tanner, and Yuki Kondo. Ya, some people do not like his antics but hey if they dont like it beat him, he is confident and he has all the right with all he has accomplished.

Most of the time he is caught up in the moment and gets a little out of control, but then I have also seen him be super respectful with fighters.
He is just trying to put on a show, develop some hype for fights and help sell tickets. That is his biggest draw really, he likes to play the heel, it makes him recognizable and gives people a reason to want to buy tickets.
It is one of the reasons he was brought back.
It's not so much ********* or confidence, just showmanship and trying to give a show.

He's a fighter an Alpha Male. He trains hard, he wins lots of fights, he's an accomplished and well paid professional athlete. He is at the pinnacle of this game. Wouldn't you feel a little cocky knowing you got the good to make millions and knock well trained hard fighting dudes out?

Reply:It's all show with Tito. He knows how to get people going and promote his fights. He actuallly seems like a great guy if you've ever seen anything on him away from his fights. You can watch season 2 of TUF and see another side of him. He's been the best coach they've had on that show. I think he's a great fighter and was once the most dominant most feared fighter in the UFC. He's starting to slide a bit, it seems like he's a stepping stone for any upcoming 205 lbs. fighter. If you want to get to the top you have to go through Tito. I don't know if that's a good thing but that's the way it seems to me.
Reply:Tito likes to run his mouth. My girlfriend and i are huge Tito fans and we cringe when ever he starts to shoot his mouth off too much. In season 3, he did show a side that was very respectable, but he has done and said some things from time to time that take away from that. As for givin Shamrock the birdy, there was a reason for that. there were a number of conflictions of personalities before that and Tito had just ran through number of his fighters. As for Rashad, i've heard that Tito went up to him to kinda get a feel for him and said something to the extent that he was gonna kick his @$$ on 07/07/07. However, with MMA being the fastest growing sport in America Tito finds more competition like Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell. Personally, I don't like Tito Ortiz. Why? As a Mixed Martial Artist myself, I pride myself on the fact that I don't downtalk any of my opponents; whether I'm going to fight them or not. It's just bad karma. In this game, they say that big egos, a cocky attitude, and trash-talking is crucial factor. I disagree.
A common misconception that was, and still is made, by the general public is that Mixed Martial Artists (Ultimate Fighters) are animals/barbaric. To me, trash-talking your opponent before a match and making all these claims on what you're going to do to him only justifies the general public's stereotypes. If you pull the classic "high-school drama" trash-talking, than people are going to look at you as an under-developed moron. Think about it, when a ring announcer/interviewer walks up to a fighter and asks "What are you thoughts about your future opponent" which answer would you give the fighter more respect for?
A)I think he's all talk. I'm a better fighter than him, I'm younger, I'm faster, I'm gonna get in the ring and I'm gonna knock him out. (Tito Ortiz style)
or
B)I respect him as a fighter, and I'm not going to take the match lightly. I'm going to train harder than I've ever train before. (Georges St. Pierre style)
It doesn't take any effort/talent to down-talk anyone. Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz had their feud going on for ages. They both trash-talked each other day in and day out. That's why it was hard to choose who you actually wanted to win. To me, it was like watching Saddam Hussein fight Osama Bin Laden; whoever lost, nobody cared because nobody liked either of them.
Given the controversy that Mixed Martial Arts caused in this country when it first came out, I think that showing a little bit of class and respect for your opponent is a crucial factor in developing yourself/career as both a fighter and a decent human being. It doesn't take any skill to talk, but it takes a little bit of control to decide what comes out.
Oh, and for the record to completely answer the question; Tito doesn't even have any reason to be cocky. He's not as good of a fighter as he thinks he is. He beat Ken Shamrock 3 times...great job! He BARELY beat Forest Griffin (controversial, I disagree with the desicion), he got annihilated by Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture spanked him. Need I keep going? The only legit fighter that he's really beaten lately is Vitor Belfort. The reason people view Tito as a good fighter is because he was good when everyone else wasn't. He was one of the earlier UFC fighters before fighting styles got truly established in the UFC. He's over-rated.

He has all the reason to be confident, he is a former champion, he is a guy with a great record who has defeated some very good fighters like Wanderlei Silva, Vitor Belfort, Ken Shamrock,Vladimir Matyushenko, Evan Tanner, and Yuki Kondo. Ya, some people do not like his antics but hey if they dont like it beat him, he is confident and he has all the right with all he has accomplished.

Most of the time he is caught up in the moment and gets a little out of control, but then I have also seen him be super respectful with fighters.
He is just trying to put on a show, develop some hype for fights and help sell tickets. That is his biggest draw really, he likes to play the heel, it makes him recognizable and gives people a reason to want to buy tickets.
It is one of the reasons he was brought back.
It's not so much ********* or confidence, just showmanship and trying to give a show.

He's a fighter an Alpha Male. He trains hard, he wins lots of fights, he's an accomplished and well paid professional athlete. He is at the pinnacle of this game. Reply:It's all show with Tito. He knows how to get people going and promote his fights. He actuallly seems like a great guy if you've ever seen anything on him away from his fights. You can watch season 2 of TUF and see another side of him. He's been the best coach they've had on that show. I think he's a great fighter and was once the most dominant most feared fighter in the UFC. He's starting to slide a bit, it seems like he's a stepping stone for any upcoming 205 lbs. fighter. If you want to get to the top you have to go through Tito. I don't know if that's a good thing but that's the way it seems to me.

Painting decisions?
I'm going to be moving in with my boyfriend's grandma's house and she's letting us paint the kitchen any color we want and I was thinking of shamrock green because I have dish towels and rags that say "Kiss me I'm irish" So what do you think?

Dog ate Santa statue, need to replace it, no idea where to find on. PLEASE HELP!!?
The other night my dog ate my fathers favorite statue. It was a statue of Santa Clause. He was white with green shamrocks all over his outfit. The only sticker he had on him was OPD limited I believe. If anyone has any ideas on where to buy new one please let me know.

Sounds good to me, the swiss bearings are good I just switched my blank board to those, grind king isn't my fav truck either just like the other guy stated I like destructo's, indy's, and thunder trucks can't go wrong with those. wheels no biggy never had to many problems with wheels I use spitfire but have also used cheep no name wheels that worked just as good so it's all good there, I like lucky hardware I use it a lot and never any problems. Deck sounds cool and light never tried them but probably will when mine breaks. Sounds like its an all out good setup so get it and skate, PEACE

Reply:That sounds like a good set up to me the the only i don't like is grind kinds. I like Indy's i think they are the best. Or Krux they are tight to. Bones Swiss are the best i had a pair and lasted about a year all you got to do is take care of the Swiss. Like don't do in water and sand is it will slow the bearings down but they are fast. Pig is a good so are spitfire. I hear thunders trucks are good i don't know i never skated them. You really don't need riser pads you are not going to ride like 56mm wheel but i don't know. Enjoy the setup hope this help .

Bones Swiss are the best i had a pair and lasted about a year all you got to do is take care of the Swiss. Like don't do in water and sand is it will slow the bearings down but they are fast. Pig is a good so are spitfire. I hear thunders trucks are good i don't know i never skated them. You really don't need riser pads you are not going to ride like 56mm wheel but i don't know. A tattoo with meaning?
I was recently pregnant (my 1st pregnancy), but could not keep the baby. i asked advice from friends which some thought it was a nice thing to do and others thought it was stupid. I would like to get a tattoo in kind of rememberance of this situation. It was due march 17 (st.patricks day) and I would either like to get a shamrock with a halo or the flower that represents march. a tattoo that could be anything to people who saw it but would have a special meaning to me. Is this a good or bad idea? any suggestions?

People can't judge you especially if they don't know how it feels to lose a child. I am so sorry that you had to go through this tough time and I pray to God that your heart be healed and you are blessed. Have you received bad wedding gifts?
We received some gifts that don't really have a place in our home. What should we do with them? One is a china platter (we are way too casual for that) and the other is a shamrock clock...

duh, oviously african americans are from africa, but are there any books out which trace specific physical traits to direct areas in africa. as an african american , i would just like to know. i no way shape or form do i have any connection to africa, i'm a cold blooded new yorker, so were my parents, grands and so on. slavery mixed up many groups and tribes.

personally i believe that the shamrock vs. Tito thing was way overplayed. and also he puts only the most entertaining and loud mouth fighters on the fight cards , instead of the better fighter. and his reality shows really piss me off as well, cage fighting used to be for people who liked blood shed not for people who like reality shows and laguna beach. last fight night i saw f*cking paris hilton in the front row , thats when u know mma is goin down the drains. what is your guys thoughts on this are u happy the mma is going mainstrea,?

I don't agree with everything dana white does, but i think if u remember the state of the ufc when zuffa bought it, u have to agree that white saved it from oblivion. It was losing money, it was banned on alot of cable outlets, senator mccain was denouncing it, calling it a "human cockfight". Zuffa has taken what was considered a spectacle for drunk rednecks and turned it into a respectable sport.

And who cares about it anyways, do you actually realize how many organizations there are out there that involve "real" fighters, as you like to call them?
I dont either, but there is a lot, but anywhere you go you will always find someone talking crap, instigating a fight, trying to give the fans what they want because at the end of the day, its a business and if nobody watches, guess what, the fighters are jobless. Because the majority of those other organizations wouldnt even sign a UFC fighter because of the experience and worthiness it takes to fight in the UFC.
Man, why dont you grow up and stop worrying about things you cant change, and even if you could, these things dont need to be changed. What the do need to do is add more weight classes and have the fighters fight at their walking weight, this would cause better fights.

Afterall, if it wasn't then who would the fighters be fighting for? How would they get paid? I think in time, it will only get better, it's still somewhat new.

He's alright but I think his carreer will end quickly. He only became champ because Umaga sucks (to the fans) and so Lashley could mess up Vince's plans.
