A tattoo with meaning?

I was recently pregnant (my 1st pregnancy), but could not keep the baby. i asked advice from friends which some thought it was a nice thing to do and others thought it was stupid. I would like to get a tattoo in kind of rememberance of this situation. It was due march 17 (st.patricks day) and I would either like to get a shamrock with a halo or the flower that represents march. a tattoo that could be anything to people who saw it but would have a special meaning to me. Is this a good or bad idea? any suggestions?

thats kinda funny (not ha ha funny, but interesting funny). i was pregnant for the first time in june and the beginning of july i had a miscarriage. i want to get a tattoo to remember it too. i was planning on getting a star on my lower stomach, hip area symbolizing the "twinkle in my eye" idea. the babys due date was valentines day so i was thinking of adding a heart in the star or visa-versa. i like your idea. i think you should go for it. a baby is a hard thing to loose. whether you wanted it or not. i didnt want the baby, so i lucked out with a miscarriage, but i was still upset i lost something my man and i created. good luck to you and keep us updated.
Reply:I think you should go for what your heart tells you that is right. If this can provide you comfort for your loss, then go for it! People can't judge you especially if they don't know how it feels to lose a child. I am so sorry that you had to go through this tough time and I pray to God that your heart be healed and you are blessed.
