No. Oh God no. He's beaten. He should just retire, train new fighters and stay out of the octogon.
As for a rematch, nope. Tito has now beaten him twice. The first time was ugly. Shamrock got lucky he didn't get too hurt this time, but should learn from it and retire.
Do you think Ken Shamrock should get a rematch from the 61 fight? Why?
please no, that fight was over before it started, that fight was obviously about money, Shamrock got dominated by 185 lb champ Rich Franklin much less 205 lb and former light heavyweight champ Tito Ortiz that he already got crushed by, the legends of the sport; Shamrock, Gracie, Abbott and Kimo all got the sport where it is today but missed out on all the big money so now they are trying to get a piece of the pie but unfortunately have all passed their prime, Dana White is obviously trying to cash in with these legends names and it has backfired, as a fan I spent $80 dollars on the last two fights just to see two legends get their asses handed to them, my suggestions would be to either pay off these legends, say thank you for what you have done and send them home or just have the legends fight each other but I don't think anyone really wants to see their heroes getting their faces bashed in by the young guns of the sport anymore, so no Shamrock should not get another fight with Tito
Reply:The usual rule with trilogies at least historically in boxing and MMA is that for the trilogy to reach its conclusion, the fighters have to split the first two (Ali-Frazier .... superb, Bowe-Holyfield fantastic .... Ward-Gatti amazing) and the third decides the series.
The rule of thumb is that if a fighter wins the first two (DelyHoya- Mosley then Mosley-Forrest) the fighter concedes that this is someone whose style or technique they cannot figure out.
In this case both I and II were pretty one sided and I can't see to many people being interested in the fight as a competitive fight, unless they just wanted to watch a sanctioned beating.
Reply:No way... He's just too old to compete at the level of other UFC fighters any more. Time to think about retirement for Ken.
Reply:No. Sadly, it is time for him to retire.
He's been dominated by Ortiz twice, he couldn't handle Fujita, got out struck by Frye, and dominated by Franklin. Sorry, its over.
Reply:I think he should get a rematch so Tito Ortiz could pad his stats by getting another easy victory.
Reply:are u F-IN KIDDING ME? Ken lost? plz tell me im not right cuz I didnt watch it! oh frikkin dam it! I had money on him! how did he lose? knockout? submission? points? now that I cleared that up
if he wants to have a rematch, he should but I dont think he could beat Tito anymore, he is getting too old and shamrock is kinda in a better shape then Kenny. OMG TITO KILLED KENNY, YOU BA$TARD!
