Reply:yeh probaly shamrock but angle can lock it on anytime no matter what the circumstances are so they are both good in many ways.
Reply:well lets puts this all in good perspective.angle is a better and far more superior wrestler on the mat anyday.grappling also puts angle a couplet notches higher than sham in this particular argument.angle has like a couple other versions on the ankle lock with exception he rarely does it the way sham did it with an armbar take down.....1.Angle has the stand up ankle lock witch puts alot of leverage on the submission,aslo preventing the opponent from getting a rope break. 2.Angles regular leg lock when on one knee is not as eqaully as effect as sham's so kenny gets that one. 3.Angle uses the his legs and inner thighs when he grape vines the leg while having the opponent in the submission.....basically it keeps him in control of the submission and allows him to tweek the ankle more and at the same time prevents the victim from getting a rope break.angle counters moves with the ankle lock. basically he can apply the ankle lock virtually from anywhere, any position, on the round or verticle base.shamrock does it some times with the armbar take down but he mostly waits until his opponent is flattened before he applies the submission...............would be a good dream match though---------------
