When and against who is the next fight of this legend.

What's next for Frank Shamrock?
I donjt think it will be Cung Le, the guy has 3 MMA fights and they want to throw him in there with one of the best ever. That does not make sense. They should bring in another free agent like Lindland vs. Shamrock would be pretty good.

He said he wants to fight the best in the world but seems to be ducking a fight with Matt Lindland. When Lindland's name was brought up at the post-fight press conference after the fight with Baroni he said that Lindland is great and yadda yadda but then said that he wants to fight guys that will sell tickets and t-shirts...indicating that he won't fight Lindland because he's known to have "boring" fights.



Shamrock has stated that he'd like to fight Cung Le. If the fight can be booked in SoCal, where Le is huge, then Shamrock would without a doubt take the fight because of the revenue it would bring in. I'd almost bet that they would sellout whatever arena they'd fight in because Le would bring out tons if he was in a title fight. Throw Paul Buentello on the card as well, who also is popular in SoCal, and you have a packed house.
Reply:Frank Shamrock will not fight again unless he gets a big payday. He stated it on sherdog.com that he won't fight a no name guy because he's taking the same risk.
Reply:He won't fight anyone that would prove he is a "Legend". He'll fight more journeymen ala Phil Baroni and pretend to be the best, yet he'll never fight Lindland, Henderson, or Filho or even Franklin or A. Silva.



Probably Cung Le so he can prove that if you don't stand in front of him like a tool he's probably not all that good.
