Shamrock VS Bisping.....WTF?!?!?
Ya I saw that this morning, it was supposed to be Matt Hamill but all of a sudden it has changed. Shamrock needs to stay retired, I am sorry, I like Shamrock and all but he is done. Shamrock has lost 4 straight fights, twice to Tito, once to Sakuraba in Pride, and once to Rich Franklin. He hasnt won a fight since 2004 against Kimo and in his two prior fights he also lost. I know he is a hall of famer and all but he is 1-6 dating back to 2002. The only reason he is probably coming back and the fight was chnaged is probably to give Bisping a push and sayhe beat a legit guy and a legend. I think this move sucks, it was a great moment when Ken retired after the last Tito fight and now he is going to comeback and get beat again. I would have rather seen Bisping fight Hamill, it would have a been a greta fight between two up and coming young kids instead of an up and comer against an old washed up former legend.
Reply:Shamrock is so over rated it's not even funny, name ONE good fighter he's beaten, even in his prime who did he beat. no one. He should just stay retired, Let's face it, he can't coach and he can't fight. All his is, is a puck with a chip on his shoulder.
Reply:At UFC.com the only posted fight for UFC 75 is Don henderson and Rampage. No other bouts have been announced.
Reply:not sure on this one bisbing is english so he fights for the british crowd ofcourse unless maybe they want to push bisbing as star so have him defeat the "hall of famer" thats all I can figure
Reply:That would really suck, even if Hamill is injured and could not take the fight there are plenty other fighters the fans would rather see bisping fight. I hope now the UFC has bought Pride they don't turn into the WWF or WWE what ever they are called now.
Reply:Another check for Shamrock, how can he say no? This is a bad matchup for Bisping, there's a chance (slight, but a chance nonetheless) the Shammie can win due to his experience.



WTF is UFC doing, Ken should hang his gloves already and give it a rest, wouldn't want to tarnish his legacy even more.

Reply:Shamrock had submitted Bas Rutten twice, but that was before Bas' Legend was cemented.



Shamrock just needs to hang em up. Royce and Ken should go to the Carribean and share a spot at a resort or something. I don't I can't think, leave me alone.



I would MUCH rather see Bisping vs. Hamill. Mike hated Matt throughout the season. I'll never forget when The Count fought back at practice and wound up hurting him. TUF fans would be all over a fight between them.



However this fight can be hyped as "Rising Star vs Legend" ala Shamrock vs. Franklin. If Ken doesn't want to call it quits, Dana will milk every piece of marketablility out of him for his younger fighters.
Reply:Bisbing needs to fight a top fighter in his weight class to see if he can indeed get a title shot.. not saying Ken isn't great but he's retired already ya know i say

Reply:Well I how ever think that Ken will win this fight, I do not like either fighter, I think that Bisbing is all hype simply to encourage more fans across the pond, Ken might have a bad record since 2000 but he lost to some decent fighters, ortiz anyone here think ortiz or sakuraba isn't a top grade fighter. The only one out of all these guys I like is Sauraba. I think that Bisbing should drop to middleweight because he does not and never will stand a chance against chuck, rampage, Rua, Henderson, Wanderlai, Rashaad, Ortiz, Griffin, Houston aleksander, or Keith Jardine. I don think he could beat any of those men ever.
Reply:Think that right now with the age and speed difference that Bisping would win. Shamrock has not devepoled with the changing UFC and that is why he has done so poorly against a fighter like Tito who is more well rounded. Shamrock is content being taken down and thus POUNDED. And bBisping is an aggressive guy like Tito so I think that the fights would have the same results.
