Ken Shamrock VS Mike Tyson?

Back in the 90's when Mike Tyson was saying he is the baddest man on the planet. And then Shamrock said "If mike Tyson thinks he is so tough.I challenge him in charity match in the octagon, If he beats me I'll donate one million dollars to any charity of his choice. But If I beat him then he has to donate One hundred Thousand dollars to my charity." But the fight never happened as we know. Who do you think would have won, and what do you think would have happaned?

Ken Shamrock VS Mike Tyson?
Shamrock would've won. Tyson would've rushed him, Shamrock would've shot under the rush, done a double leg takedown and got full mount, and Tyson would've been crying as Shamrock proceeded to pound him out. If by pure strength Tyson managed to get Shamrock off, Ken would've simply locked up an ankle and put Iron Mike out that way, or swung around to a rear naked choke and choked his dumb *** out. Tyson was a great boxer, but he never was the sharpest tool in the shed, and any decent MMA fighter could've beat him.

No one, Tyson's not just a boxer, he's a fighter. Is he a better fighter than Shamrock?

Come on Tyson would knock out Shamrock in one round.

This wouldn't even be a fight. Do you really think that with the little gloves that we wear in mma, Tyson would have more or less power. There is no way Shamrock could handle that type of power. Look at what Ortiz and Franklin did to him, Do you think eighter of these guys could handle Tyson...no way

Reply:Shamrock would win. Shamrock got his *** whupped by Royce Gracie in less than a minute, but does Tyson know how to defend a takedown? If Tyson knew enough wrestling to keep Shamrock off him for the minute or so it would take him to get a knockout, I would say Tyson, but he doesn't. In a street fight: Tyson (I know it's illogical, but don't ever underestimate crazy).
Reply:Tyson (like most boxers) live in a world of rules and limits. They dont think as much as they react. A mixed martial artist would completely anihilate him especialy shamrock. Once he gets him on the ground (which would be easy) tyson would be done. The problem with boxers is they lack in both offense and defense. Defense they only know how to defend in the upper body (mostly against punches) and that is only when they are standing. Push them out of that area and they really dont know what they are doing. Offense they limit themselves even more with only doing punch strikes. No kicks, no grabs no ground grappling. And with a lack of knowledge of such things they lack the knowledge of how to defend against them. Shamrock would win because of superior skill and being more well rounded.

Reply:I think Tyson actually would have been a better mma fighter than a boxer if he would have trained it, but that's not the case. The case is that Ken IS an experienced mma fighter and Tyson is not. I give it to "the worlds most dangerous man" Ken Shamrock. Yes, he would easily submit Tyson. Yes, he would take it to the ground. No, he would not have trouble taking Tyson down. Tyson hasn't ever even trained a take down defense. Sure hes been in a lot of street fights but those guys were a bunch of nobodies. Tigerfan replied "Watch some of Tysons early fights and just watch how he went after his enemies! There was more than strategy there! There was a passion for killing!" which is exactly why he would lose. That passion and way he went after his enemies would be his downfall. Tyson couldn't just come at Shamrock! That would be a huge risk for a take down. Mma actually is a boxers worst nightmare because theres too much strategy involved in defending take downs. The only way for Tyson to win would be an unexpected blow or a hit and run situation to a decision.
