Did gas stations used to give away dishes?

I have some dishes and S %26amp; P shakers that my grandmother said she got from Diamond Shamrock. They are bright orange and I was just wondering where they came from and if they are worth anything.

yes - there is quite a big market for them too if they are in goo dshape. Ebay or other auction sites can give you an idea of the going rates.

Those dishes and shakers might be worth something. Check with an antiques dealer, or check EBay for similar items.
