I'm thinking of getting a new tattoo to signify my new battle with Cancer?

Because of my Irish heritage I'd like to get a nice looking shamrock or a celtic knot with the word courage underneath

Can any one tell me the proper Irish Gaelic for "Courage"

Much appreciate it

While you have gotten some very good replies here I just feel, as a tattoo artist, I must advise you to time this well. If you are about to undergo chemo or are currently having chemo, it is not the time to get a tattoo.

Check with your doctor about that and I hope it will be able to be accomplished soon and symbolize the "misneach" I feel you already have.

I wish you well.
Reply:I really hope everything works out for you. These are the tattoos I love because they have so much meaning behind them. I am Irish but I am not 100% positive on these..

Téann misneach go Neamh

or

Téann misneach go dtí an Neamh.

Courage leads to Heaven

OR

courage:

misneach
Reply:Courage: misneach

Good luck! Keep fighting! God bless you!!!! Stay strong! You will make it!
Reply:as a noun: misneach

here is a link to an online dictionary, in case you think of other words: http://www.englishirishdictionary.com/di...

good luck

stay tough
Reply:I don't know of any words in Irish Gaelic for courage I just want to say GOOD LUCK AND STAY POSITIVE with your battle.
