The question is Ken Shamrock??

i don't think this s the time for retirement , i wish to see him one more time inside the ring ,

what about you ? what think he should do?

The question is Ken Shamrock??
No. I don't like watching old fighters getted there heads bashed in by guys they could beat 10 years ago. Ken Shamrock would have in destroyed Tito a long time ago and now it's just sad to see. I know these guys are trying to get paid because they got screwed when they we're fighting, but I just think it's bad television. Also, I don't want to watch Couture get his *** kicked either because he was one of my favorite fighters when I was a kid and I don't want to see him get destroyed.
Reply:I've followed Shamrock ever since his first fights back when UFC was new.

Seems way back then he was indeed "the world's most dangerous man". After seeing him get whupped by Tito Ortiz, I don't think he can use that description anymore.

I also saw him in a recent PRIDE match where, even though he appeared to be winning most of the fight, had his corner throw in the towel when he got tired. What kind of fighter is that?

I personally don't care if he EVER comes back to fight again. And if he does, they'd better not make it a PPV main event. That would be lame.
Reply:Why dont you ask him too. He'd probably piss down your throat and tell you:

"mind your business, cause the roids are talking right now punk!"
Reply:He should of retired when he prosituted his skills to Pro-Wrestling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:I lost all respect for shamrock during the reality show. He was out there for himself. On the other hand, what else does he have to prove right.....now to the question. If he does get in the ring i don't think he needs to face a stud. Maybe a Younger fighter like Matt Hamil(the deaf guy) or Mike Nickels (tattoo covered dude from same show) Shamrock is clearly not the fighter he once was. I'm not taking anything away from him, he deserves to be a hall of famer, I just think for his own sake he should leave the gloves off for now.
Reply:It's clearly time for retirement. All the trash talk with Tito was just pathetic. He is pretty past his prime, but I think that he can beat the new young guys from TUF.
Reply:I wouldn't be surprised if Ken Shamrock made a shocking return to the octagon ala Randy Couture.
Reply:i agree with you
Reply:He's way over his prime. Time for him to retire. No more fighting. He wasted his time wrestling in WWF/WWE.
Reply:He's past his prime and is an obsolete fighter in terms of style.
Reply:I respect everything that Ken Shamrock did in the past but the truth is that he is past his prime and the sport has evolved too much for him to compete anymore.

Right now he should simply walk away. Although his last few losses have been bad, he did lose to quality fighters in Tito Ortiz and Rich Franklin. So theres not much shame in those losses. I think it would be an ugly blemish on his legacy if he were to suffer a bad defeat to a marginal fighter
Reply:After the beatings he took from Tito Ortiz, I would really be suprised to see Shamrock ever fight again.
Reply:With the sport evolving he was left behind as he is too stubborn to change!

He is risking death if he gets back in the fight game.
Reply:He should've retired 5 years ago.
Reply:Well he is a competitor and he isn't competing just to compete he is competing to be the best and if he can no longer be at the top tier of ultimate fighters then it is time to retire. After losses to Rich Franklin and a couple to Tito Ortiz in the fashion he lost it is time to retire before he suffers any permanent damage. Maybe once in a while he can do a promotional fight with another aging fighter but nothing more on a regular basis.
Reply:He was suppose to beat Rich Franklin, that didn't turn out as planned. I would really like to see him leave with a victory, however I think the fight game is in his blood and he will conitue fighting until the doctors won't clear him, like Holyfield.
Reply:Just like every great fighter, there comes a time when you just have to stop. No matter how much you hate to admit or realize it, your body ages. Your motor processes, speed, etc slow down. Shamrock cannot compete anymore without endangering his life and health.
